Dear Patrons and Participants,
Greetings to all of you. A week has slipped fast since our Chiththirai Thiruvizha Event last April 21st. The ebbing excitement of all the programs and the happiness of celebarating the event as a community family has subsided leaving space for heartfelt gratitude.
We are very Thankful to all parents and participants for making this program a grand success. It would not have been possible without your cooperation, hardwork in practicing and staging the performance. All dances, skits,musical and instrumental performances were outstanding and a BIG THANKS to all of you.
The stage backdrop and setup was on par for the fantastic performers. It has enhanced all the well dressed dancers and confident solo performers. Mrs. Deepa Dilip created all the all the art works and it was meticulously coordinated by Mrs.Ramya KC and then installed by Mr.Saran Thangavelu, Mr.Raj, Mr.RamMohan. Thank You very much for this team and their hardwork that has been making our stages a delightful spectacle.
We had an audio issue that was quickly resolved by Senthil Erulappan.Thank You very much. The Audio equipment was provided by Tarangini. The set up and complete mixing was taken care by KC Chandrashekar. Our heartfelt THANKS goes out to our friends at Tarangini for supporting us and to KC who churned out the best clear music much needed for the performances.
The flow of the programs and compiling it as an entertaining program would not have come through without the clear, heartwarming compering of Mrs. Soniya Anguraj who gave the needed lift for the evening with her confident, Thamizh. Thank You very much Soniya!
Amma’s Kitchen Mr. Muthu Kumar deserves a heartfelt THANKS from all of us for the delicious dinner. A much bigger THANKS to all the volunteers who helped in the set up and served the food on time and with care. We could not have achieved a smooth run of events without the willing support and help from volunteers Mr. Muruganantham Ramachandran and Mr.Karthikeyan Sankarapandian at the Registration desk using the QR code to the BEST and to all the other volunteers who helped in the registration desk and also to sell jasmine flowers.
Lakota Schools Custodian Sandy deserves our heartfelt THANKS for being there throughout helping in set up and cleaning services.
Miss. Sneha Ameya, an University Freshman and a volunteer at our event has helped backstage with all the coordination and certificate distribution. Thank You very much Sneha for all your dedicated help over the years.Mr.Nat Arumugam who helped us with the timely open/closing of the stage curtain sure deserves our gratitude.
Our heartfelt THANKS to Mr.Prabhakar Sundarajan for photographying the event. It is very important to capture the moments and freeze the dances and Thanks to him we have a colorful photo journal.
The support from our local businesses and sponsors is always encouraging; Our sincere THANKS to all of them for being a huge support in our endeavors. Last but not the least, the coordination and dedication from the GCTS Executive Team deserves a big round of applause. Kumar Saravanan, Shyam Rangaswamy, KC Chandrasehar, Subhashini Karthikeyan, Anguraj Rathinasamy have meticulously worked their tasks and have been a big support and confidence to the event execution. The Greater Cincinnati Tamil Community will always be THANKFUL to their time and work. Thank You very much JS.Karthikeyan for being there supporting our executions and plans. It was a spectacular celebaration!
We took home a lovely goody bag of bright smiles, beautiful dances, mellifflous music, happy moments, and above all the Thamizh togetherness. A language that has bought us all and binds us as friends and family.
