Wow! What an incredible experience! CincyVengai is still buzzing from the energy of the Blink festival parade! We’re beyond thrilled and proud to have brought the vibrant tapestry of Tamil culture to such a massive audience – over 2 MILLION people 🤯!
Marching through seven city blocks, we transformed the streets into a celebration of rhythm, color, and tradition. Our troupe poured our hearts and souls into showcasing the diverse beauty of Tamil arts, and the response was absolutely electrifying.
From the powerful, resonant beats of the parai drums that echoed through the crowd, to the graceful flow of oyilaattam, the infectious energy of kummiyaattam, the devotional spirit of kaavadi, and the breathtaking skill of silambaattam martial arts, we aimed to give everyone a taste of the rich heritage we cherish. ⚔️💃🕺🥁🎨
